Litigation Assistance
WestSide Lawyers provides litigation assistance to people: Within the state of South Australia; and Who meet our criteria for ongoing legal assistance. Examples of litigation assistance includes: Employees in dispute with their employer. Tenants in dispute with their landlords. Credit consumers in dispute with finance providers. Representation in Criminal proceedings. Representation in General Civil proceedings, including but not limited to actions for: o breach of contract o negligence o insurance; and o debt.
On-going Legal Assistance
On-going legal assistance, including client representation, is available to those people who meet the Westside Lawyers' client selection criteria, namely that: No other grant of legal aid is available. The client is unable to afford private legal representation. The dispute contains some element of inequality between the parties in conflict. The client has legal merit, ie. that there is a reasonable chance of the dispute being resolved in favour of the client.

On-going Legal Assistance
WestSide Lawyers seeks to enhance access to the legal justice system by: 1. Providing, arranging for, or assisting in providing legal services to persons and community organisations; 2. Involving individuals and community organisations in recognition, understanding and solution of their own legal and related problems; 3. Assisting in, encouraging and fostering test cases and class action litigation; 4. Co-operating with educational authorities in the provision of legal education in the community; 5. Participating in law reform; 6. Co-operating and/or affiliating with organisations in Australia and elsewhere having similar objectives; 7. Encouraging the involvement of non- professional persons in the operation of WestSide Lawyers and its programs; and 8. Undertaking such other activities, which contribute to the resolution of the legal and related needs of individuals and families.
